Wii Timer: Control Your Children
Certainly Nintendo Wii is a good thing but unless you know the limit. Although almost everyone likes Wii but the majority is children and if parents would not stop them they would like to pass the entire game at once. Fortunately for children, parents not always have time for that and the result is that your kid is starting to wear glasses.
This issue was discussed during the Game Developers Conference and the Takashi Aoyama from Nintendo said that soon Wii’s will have a parental control timer. This not the kind of timer that lets you set the time when the Wii will be turned off automatically but instead it saves all the data, like how much time Wii was turned on or what games were played. So it allows parents to have a control over their children.
Nintendo Wii Fanboy reports what Aoyama has said.
Instead of instituting some play limit … this allowed parents to monitor and discuss how much their children were playing … this is why you can’t erase the play history on the console.
I really approve Nintendo’s way of controlling children’s time spent on playing Wii games as it’s allows you to discuss it with them and not strongly turn off the console. However they their playing time is not limited but they know that you can know how much they’ve played and that’s the key factor here.
