Ford Racing: Off Road On Nintendo Wii
There aren’t many racing games on the Nintendo Wii so there’s definitely a place for Ford Racing: Off Road. The game will be released on PC, PS2 and PSP on May 25th and while the PC version will probably lead the pack in terms of graphics, the game play should be interesting enough in attracting Wii owners.
In the game you’ll be able to drive 18 officially licensed Land Rover and Ford off road vehicles which means the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, the all new Freelander and other powerful off road vehicles. According to ToTheGame acceleration is faster than any previous Ford games and there are other features as well.
With real time, on-the-go vehicle damage repair, acceleration faster than any previous Ford game, and alternative routes. Off Road brings a plethora of new and exclusive features to test players driving prowess at high speed. The racing has never been this exhilarating!

2. 3 off road environments, Desert, Water and Ice.
3. Real time, on-the-go damage repair.
4. Discover hidden routes to gain a racing advantage.
5. Power sliding; throw powerful 4×4s around the tracks.
6. In-game pickups: Discover repair pods, time extensions, artefacts & cash.
7. Multi-player racing via split screen (PS2 – 2 players ) and Wi-Fi (PSP – 6 players).
8. 12 race modes: Standard Race, Elimination, Time Attack, Overtake, Slalom, Checkpoint, Checkpoint Sprint, Seconds Out, Gold Rush, Gauntlet, Low Damage Race and Expedition.
Off Road sounds as though it offers some really great features although if it were a racing game and not an off road one it would have to go head to head with NFS: Carbon. But, as far as there aren’t any competitors on Wii in this genre, this game can already be considered as the number one off road game. Let’s just hope that there won’t be any more delays as according to gamershell the release date was initially set as March 21st.
