Emergency Mayhem On Nintendo Wii

Emergency MayhemThere aren’t many games on any platform where you don’t have to kill anyone or smash everything, but some give players the opposite — missions to save people. Emergency Mayhem, a game developed exclusively for the Nintendo Wii, offers players the chance to be heroes by saving people in real-life type emergency situations.

Emergency Mayhem features three game modes: Police, Fire Department and Ambulance with missions based on which you choose. One thing that all three departments have in common is the way missions are completed. This might sound like a boring game, but as soon as you enter your vehicle it becomes a bunch of fun. You have to be too fast and the motion-sensitive controllers are used to great effect.

N+ Blog reports more details.

Driving around the city is fun. The vehicles handle well, and there are lots of roads and routes to take as you go from task to task. There are shortcuts to discover, and plenty of other vehicles to avoid.

Family Friendly Gaming thinks of Emergency Mayhem as a good game, but also mentions some negative points.

The controls work well with the Nunchuk and Wii Remote. The guiding arrow is my biggest complaint. I understand that it is pointing directly towards where I need to go. The problem is there can be buildings in the way. I found myself looping around roads with no idea how to get inside the middle where the game was pointing me. This would wind up meaning I did not complete a delivery in time.

Enjoy the trailer.
