Fighting Games: Good Or Bad?

Fighting Games: Good Or Bad?Today there are a number of free fighting games available and they enjoy great popularity especially among kids. Many young boys are fond of fighting games, which is a real headache for many parents.

I do agree to the idea that fighting games can have numerous negative effects on the kid. It may badly affect their psychology, way of thinking and their attitude to life.

However, this is not a rule, if parents follow several important tips. The age of the kid makes a huge difference in how they perceive the game. A three-year old kid will not play the game simply for entertainment. His brain will most likely blindly accept whatever it sees on the screen.

Everything is beautiful to measure. Playing fighting games for five-six hours a day will have its negative influence even on an adult’s psychology.

Parents should also pay attention who the kid’s rival is in playing the fighting game. I think the best option is to play the game with the parent or elder sibling.

In order to escape the negative influence of fighting games, parents can also join their kids in choosing a good one. I am almost sure that much depends on the game itself. Some are really low-quality and teach nothing but violence and cruelty. Some time ago I came across an online game portal — Online-Games-Zone.com, which I believe is one of the best ones, because not only the colors are of high quality and very “friendly,” but also the games themselves. At least they carry some idea, unlike the many games with which the Internet is filled nowadays.

In case these factors are taken into consideration, fighting games can even have their benefits. They develop tactical thinking, improve problem solving skills and teach to act quickly, effectively and on the right time.
