Big Beach Sports On Nintendo Wii
Fans of sport computer games will be pleased to hear that Big Beach Sports will be coming to Nintendo Wii on June 27th. The game has been developed by THQ and so there should be no reason to worry about its quality.
Big beach Sports brings sun and sand of warm beaches into your living room with the possibility to participate in six sport games — American Football, volleyball, soccer, beach cricket and disc golf. All family members should find something interesting to play.
Moreover besides the challenging single player, the game offers an attractive multi-player mode as well which allows all family members or friends to be play simultaneously. The guys at GameSpot have already had the opportunity to play the game.
Our sample focused on two of the six available sports: beach cricket and volleyball. This title is very much in the same vein as the console’s bundled game–Wii Sports. Several sports are on offer with a focus on fun and multiplayer using up to four Wii Remote controllers. Volleyball features four-player competitive play (two on either side of the net) and is quite similar to both Wii Sports’ tennis or the Kicks game in EA Playground.
IGN reports about the in-game controls.
“The innovative Wii Remote controller has revolutionized sports gaming, letting us involve the player like never before,” said Steve Dauterman, senior vice president of product development, THQ. “Big Beach Sports applies the control scheme to each of the varied sports featured, letting players pick up and play the games they know and learn the ones they don’t know.”
