Soccer is one of the games that it’s hard to imagine playing with the Nintendo Wii controllers but it seems that developers at Konami have managed it. So, if you were waiting to know if the Wii edition of PES 2008 will be as successful as it is on other consoles, then the video below should satisfy your curiosity.

From what is shown, what seems to be the strong point of the Nintendo Wii edition is the freedom of styles to play which should make the game more realistic. Of course, another anticipated feature is Mii character support. If you want, you can create a player with glasses and a big head and have some real fun in the field.

I’m sure debuting PES 2008 on the Nintendo Wii is another victory over the FIFA series and I guess EA Sports understands that as they recently announced that UEFA 2008 will not be available on the Nintendo Wii.Photo: © herzeleyd
