Nintendo Gets 3 Awards In CES 2008Nintendo continues to sweep the floor in almost every console award ceremony of late, and the CES 2008 in Las Vegas was no exception.

Nintendo’s DC and Wii took the award in “Game Controllers Innovation” nomination, and Nyko’s Wireless Wii Nunchuk was named Best in CES 2008 by CNET. Video Game generation has included Chris Arbogast’s (Director of Marketing at Nyko Technologies) and Jai Singh’s (CNET’s editor-in-chief) speeches in its article.

The nomination for CNET’s ‘Best of CES’ award was an honor in itself, but taking home the award for the gaming category is an even greater privilege. Winning this prestigious award showcases how highly consumers and the tech community think of Nyko’s commitment to advancing gameplay technologies.

Chosen from hundreds of products at CES, Nyko’s Wireless Nunchuck for Wii demonstrates the creativity, excellence and vision that sets the standard in gaming. The ‘Best of CES’ awards brings together the top consumer electronics that will impact the coming year for consumer electronics.

Nintendo probably doesn’t need these awards to make its brand popular. Its brand is already known worldwide, but being publicly acknowledged is good motivation. It also illustrates that the company is moving in the right direction and shows its competitors who is king.
